We arrived in Lyon in nice time to freshen up a little before heading out for a feed. Just 50 metres from our front door was tourist central – bars, cafés, restaurants. We chose one which had been recommended by the owners of the apartment, however, they seemed to have different standards to us, and our first meal in Lyon was an unfortunate disappointment. Wasn’t downright bad, but you can certainly do better than Le Bistrot de Lyon.
